You know you’re really behind on your blogging when you post a Bonfire night photoshoot in January!
Last Autumn I met with the lovely Cath from Battlemum blog and her family. It feels like it always rains on Bonfire night but this time it was a beautiful sunny Autumn day. The fallen leaves were crunchy and tinted in fiery reds, oranges and yellow. Just perfect for throwing in the air.
Cath and her family love being outdoors and exploring, and like most 2 year olds, little Battlekid just loved running around and playing. We made the most of the sunshine and the family skimmed stones by the river, snuggled up in blankets, had tickle fights and threw leaves in the air.
This is the sort of session I love doing because it allows everyone to be themselves and forget about the camera. It’s especially great for toddlers because they hate sitting still, and if you want to get a genuine smile, they have to be genuinely having fun. And I think you’ll agree, this little man is having a great time!
