Do you need a new phone to take the picture?
No, most smart phones will be able to take high resolution images. If you’re not sure if your phone is suitable, drop me a message and I’ll let you know.
Do I need a backdrop or a blank wall to take the picture?
No, you don’t need to worry about objects in the background as these will be removed int he editing process, all you need is a window or door that lets in lots of light.
Will I receive a physical print?
No, you will receive a high resolution email to the email address you give when you order. You can then use this to make prints, wall art and gifts.
Will I be able to print large wall art?
Yes, the image will be high resolution and you will be able to use it to create large posters, prints and canvases.
How Do I take the Image?
Each image has its own set of instructions to ensure the image is high quality and lit correctly. But here are some basic guidelines:
- Take the image inside your home, during the daylight.
- Get close to a window or patio door.
- Turn off any indoor lights in the room.
- Do not use your flash.
- Get your child to copy the pose in the example image
- Use the camera on your phone, rather than in an app such as Facebook or Instagram.
- Turn off portrait mode.
- Do not apply filters or editing.
- Use the back camera, not the selfie camera.
How Do I Upload the Image
After you have purchased the image, you will receive an email with a link to upload your image, click on it and follow to instructions to upload your image. You can do this from a computer or your phone.
How Long Do I have to Send The Photo After I have Ordered?
If we haven’t received it a week after the order, we will refund your order. If you need more time or more help to take the image, drop us a message and we will give you more time.
What If I Order and I Then I am Unable to Take the Image?
If you are having trouble taking the image, get in touch and we will be happy to help. If you no longer want the image we can issue a refund.
What If The Image I sent is not suitable?
If there are any issues with the image, we’ll get in touch and help you fix them, which may involve having to retake the image.
